Schneider Geomatics is committed to having a safe work environment for all of our employees. We invest our time, financial resources, and equipment to make sure our employees return home safely to their families. Schneider Geomatics was the first engineering firm to become certified by the Metro Indianapolis Coalition for Construction Safety (MICCS) which promotes the adoption of safety-related industry standards that are different from and/or more stringent than, for example, rules and regulations implemented by OSHA. We understand that clients sometimes need specific safety ratings for some projects and we know that we can deliver each time because year after year.
Starting in 2018 Schneider Geomatics hired a Corporate Safety Representative from Safety Resources to help with our safety needs. Safety Resources, Inc. is a 100% woman owned and controlled business certified with the city of Indianapolis, the State of Indiana, the Women's Business Enterprise National Council, and INDOT DBE certified." Safety Resources, Inc. provides safety consulting, employee training, site safety staffing, program writing and implementation. Their thorough understanding of safety, regulatory compliance, loss control, and risk management techniques shapes our firm’s commitment to quality, professional consulting services. Our goal is to utilize our expertise for the benefit of our customers and their employees.
Schneider Geomatics prepares Job Hazard Analysis on each project, we meet weekly for Toolbox talks, and we make sure we have proper Personal protective equipment at all times. Safety is an investment that Schneider Geomatics takes seriously. Over the last six years we have invested over $400,000 in employee’s time towards safety.
Safety is important to our utility clients. Safety in the utility market helps increase efficiency, reduce cost and limit the amount of time for disruptions in loss of utility.
