Central Park, Carmel, Indiana
Schneider Geomatics was hired to design an addition to Central Park, the premier park in the heart of the City of Carmel. This additional park area includes the largest playground in the City.
The West Commons Playground & Splash Pad is located on the west side of Central Park just east of the College Avenue entrance. This area was previously an undeveloped meadow between the existing lagoon and Central Park West Drive.
In addition to the 
unique playground, amenities include a splash pad, picnic shelters, an outdoor classroom with natural Indiana limestone seating, beautiful views of the existing lagoon, open meadow for recreational activities, new pathways and access to the existing boardwalk along the lagoon, restrooms, and a new parking lot.
